Need more than a simple DSL Line ?

Are you running VPN but find that ADSL is not fast enough for your upload and SDSL is not available in your area ?

Businesses who have multiple sites and offices can now share information between each site and create a "virtual LAN" by incorporating multiple VPN connections using multiple DSL line.

Businesses with multiple sites and offices

Usually, with VPN connections, the head office sends and receives most the traffic as the other sites all require a connection to the main systems and applications which run from there. The large amounts of data transferred in and out can be over the capacity of a single ADSL line.

All ADSL services have a maximum upload speed of 256Kbps which is not a lot when outbound traffic is increased by every new VPN connection. This situation can cause significant slow down effect and increase data transfer time.

To overcome this problem Exa Networks have developed solutions which take multiple ADSL connections at a single site and bind them together to increase connection speeds.

What would happen if you lost your Internet Connection?

If your company relies heavily on Internet connectivity and would suffer greatly as a result of the Internet connection being lost then you should consider a solution with automatic fail-over and fail-back.

Automatic fail-over to PSTN/ISDN ensures that if your ADSL connection experiences problems and your Internet connection is lost, the router will detect this and will automatically switch over to a dial-up connection using either PSTN or ISDN. As soon as the ADSL connection is restored the router then automatically switches back to the broadband connection.
