Lawnswood - Leeds

Like all schools in the Leeds area Lawnswood was forced to go down the route of using the LEA and Learning network for connectivity, we found this to be very slow and unreliable and as a technology school with over 1500 pupils this was simply unacceptable.
We want Lawnswood to be at the forefront of technology and to do this we needed a high speed and reliable Internet Connection. Eventually we found that we could actually leave the Leeds Learning net and source our own Internet connectivity, this is when I contacted Matt and Mark, at Exa Networks

I have had an excellent relationship with the guys from Exa for many years now, I was with Legend before they were brought out and moved as soon as I could to Exa.
I currently have a 15mb leased line (capable of up to 100Mbps if we need it in the future) and a backup ADSL circuit. I also use an EXO XL for the firewall and content filtering on the box. Exa also have control and look after my domains, they are quite unique as they can offer a complete package.

When my old ISP was taken over I found I had a fault with my system, I couldn't get a response from them, upon phoning Exa I had an engineer on-site within half an hour, and now that we have moved over to Exa completely we never have to worry about poor service, speed or support.
