Education Telemarketer Job

Working in a small and busy team, the purpose of the Education Telemarketer will be to gather information on potential clients in the Education sector, communicate with these school bodies, build relationships and create appointments for the Education Manager and Education Account Manager. You will do this by educating the potential client about the company’s Internet Service Provision options to schools and promoting value of the company’s products and services, providing information to the schools and setting up appointments for the Education team.

Duties include:

  • Create an organised system of information relating to geographic target areas.
  • Develop informative literature about company services for the distribution to potential clients.
  • Updating current systems in accordance to company standards.
  • Using a professional and polite telephone manner to contact schools, liaise with members of staff and inform potential clients about services.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate personnel and create appointments for members of the Education Team.
  • Utilising organisational skills by managing the Education Team diaries.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of products, services and delivery methods.
  • Is prepared to attend Education based events as a member of the Education Team.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.





    Skills/qualifications:

    Polite and Professional telephone manner, Microsoft Office skills, Excellent organisational skills, Verbal communication, Administrative writing skills, attention to detail, basic research skills. Experience of customer service, working in a busy office, preferred. Technical training will be given as part of induction training.
